Verknipt Festival is one of the Netherlands' most popular festivals and the perfect introduction to the Dutch rave scene.
This isn't just a trip; it's an experience that combines world-class techno with authentic Dutch culture in one of Europe's most picturesque cities. Welcome to your new rave crew. Drop your bags at the hostel, grab a coffee, and start meeting the girls. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage for free and head out to explore. Our check in time is 3 pm but girls typically arrive throughout the day!
Once everyone's checked in, we'll explore Utrecht's charming city center with its iconic Dom Tower, dreamy canals, and fairy-tale medieval streets. There's plenty of local shops, vintage finds, and cozy cafés to discover. It's the perfect way to get to know the city and each other.
In the evening, the group can grab dinner together or explore on your own. After, we'll get ready together at the hostel and head out for drinks in the city center. Whether you want a chill drink or a full night out, this is where the fun really begins.
Festival day! We'll start with our picnic featuring traditional Dutch snacks treats. It's the perfect way to fuel up before the festival and bond with the group before kicking off the weekend of raving.
We'll head to Strijkviertel around midday for Day 1 of Verknipt Festival. The festival runs from 12pm-11pm, giving us a full day of mind-blowing productions, amazing techno sets, and 360° visuals.
Experience the Breaking Patterns theme come to life with multiple stages, world-class DJs, and an atmosphere unlike anything else. Dance, explore, and lose yourself in the music on the festival grounds.
Day 2! Sleep in if you need to, grab breakfast, and prepare for another incredible day at the festival. We'll head back to Strijkviertel for the second day, running from 12pm-11pm with a completely different lineup and energy.
Sunday at Verknipt hits different - the crowd knows what they're there for, the production is in full force, and everyone's making the most of the final day. Soak it all in, make those last memories, and dance like there's no tomorrow.
After the festival wraps at 11pm, we'll return to the hostel together.
Check-out is at 10 a.m., followed by a farewell brunch near the hostel. It's the perfect chance to reflect on the weekend, swap stories, and make plans for future trips together.
If your flight is later in the day, you can leave your bags at the hostel and keep exploring. Most of us usually hang around for a while, so feel free to join for one last walk, coffee, or goodbye drink before heading out.

Your trip includes 3 nights at our centrally located Utrecht hostel, weekend festival ticket (Saturday & Sunday), traditional Dutch picnic, an experienced Girls Who Rave trip leader, exclusive Girls Who Rave merchandise, a curated itinerary blending nightlife, culture, and exploring, plus pre-arrival support including a welcome guide, packing list, and pre-departure group chat.
Flights, airport/train transfers, meals (except the Dutch picnic), drinks at bars and the festival, transportation within Utrecht, and personal expenses.
Absolutely! The vast majority of our travelers come solo and leave with lifelong friends. This is a girls-only trip with like-minded people who love to rave, explore, and have a good time. Our trip leader will make sure everyone feels welcome from day one.
We're all about good energy, supporting each other, and making memories. Whether you want to dance all night or take it easy some nights, there's space for everyone. Most of our attendees are in their 20s and 30s, but you're welcome at any age as long as you fit the vibe. While the trip is conducted in English, we have attendees from around the world... 30 countries and counting!
Yes, you must be 18+ to join this trip. The majority of our trip participants are in their 20s and 30s.
Our trips are always at your own pace! You don't have to drink or party hard to have an amazing time. We have plenty of daytime activities, exploring, and chill moments built into the itinerary. It's likely you'll find fellow trip attendees on your same wavelength who want to explore, relax, and enjoy Utrecht and the festival without going all out every day.
That’s totally okay. You don’t need to be a seasoned raver to join this trip. Our trips are open to everyone, whether it’s your first rave or your fiftieth. All we ask is that you come with an open mindset, a positive attitude, and respect for the culture and the group.

We'll be at a centrally located hostel in Utrecht, perfectly positioned near the train station, city center, and all the best cafés and bars. Specific hostel details will be shared with confirmed attendees.
You'll be in shared hostel rooms (4-6 beds per room) with other Girls Who Rave trip attendees only - not mixed with other hostel guests. If you'd prefer more privacy, private room upgrades may be available for an additional fee (subject to availability).
We’ll have a form after booking where you can let us know about any dietary requirements, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Utrecht is very vegetarian-, vegan-, and allergy-friendly.
Fly into Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) - it's only a 30-minute direct train ride to Utrecht Central Station! The train is easy, affordable, and runs frequently. We'll share detailed transport instructions in the group chat before the trip.
Verknipt offers shuttle buses from Utrecht Central Station to the festival grounds, and we'll coordinate group transportation. Alternatively, it's bikeable (this is the Netherlands after all!), or you can use local transport. Full details will be shared closer to the event.
Bring your best rave outfits, comfortable shoes for dancing, layers for cooler evenings, sunscreen, a light rain jacket (it's the Netherlands!), and anything you need to feel your best. We'll send a detailed packing list in the group chat before the trip.
The itinerary is a guide, not a rulebook! It's subject to change based on weather, group preferences, and how everyone's feeling. You're always welcome to do your own thing - whether that's skipping an activity to sleep in, exploring solo, or joining a smaller group for something different. We're here to facilitate an amazing trip, not micromanage your vacation.
There is a $200 non-refundable deposit. Between 60-45 days before the trip, you can cancel and receive 50% of your remaining balance back. No cancellations are accepted within 45 days of the trip. Please note that this festival trip has significantly more inclusions that must be paid for in advance (festival ticket, etc) compared to our other trips, which is why we have the non-refundable deposit. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
Our website prices are listed in US Dollars, but you're welcome to pay via bank transfer or Revolut in EUR or GBP and save on card fees. You can view payment instructions in the email you'll receive after applying, or reach out to us directly for details.
Once you book, we'll reach out to you via WhatsApp to send out pre-arrival information - we're also here if you need help booking your flights! 2-3 weeks prior to the trip date, you'll be added to our group chat where we'll share updates, answer questions, and start getting to know each other before the trip. Our trip leaders are available for support throughout the planning process.
Plan to arrive in Utrecht on Friday, June 5th. Check in to the hostel is around 3 pm, but don't stress if you arrive later - our first day is the most chill and we'll be staying around Utrecht exploring. Departures are on Monday, June 8th with check out around 10 am. We'll share more detailed arrival and departure info in the group chat.
Yes! If you want to arrive early or stay longer, just book your flights and accommodations for the extra days. Our group booking is for June 5-8. Many people extend to visit Amsterdam, which is only 30 minutes away by train!
