Trip Overview
Georgia sits at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, where ancient wine traditions meet world-class underground culture. Together, we'll explore legendary clubs like Bassiani and Khidi, tour a centuries-old winery in the Kakheti region, soak in historic sulphur baths, taste one of the best cuisines in the world, and explore the city's Soviet-era vintage markets, quaint streets, and hilltop monuments.
Plus, there's an optional 5 day add-on to Batumi on the Black Sea coast with beach days, seaside nightlife, raw nature, and a completely different side of Georgia. This is your chance to dive into a rave scene that rivals Berlin, experience a culture unlike anywhere else, and leave with new friends. This is Georgia: we loved it so much we're returning for our second trip here!

Welcome to Georgia! Get in, check in, take a breath. Our villa is in one of the best neighbourhoods in the city: central, walkable, with that old Tbilisi charm where every street has something worth stopping for. Tonight we'll have our welcome dinner together at a traditional Georgian restaurant. Proper food, natural wine poured generously, the kind of long table evening where the conversation doesn't stop and you end up still sitting there three hours later wondering where the time went. It's a good introduction to how Georgia operates.
Your first full day to take the city in. Wander Old Town, browse the vintage markets, visit the fairground in Mtatsminda Park over the city, or climb up to Narikala fortress for the views over the rooftops. Then we'll get ready for our first night out, starting at one of our favorite pre-drink spots that feels like a party on its own. We'll head to Bassiani or Khidi depending on what's on that night. We always check the events and go where the lineup is best rather than just the name.
The sulphur baths were made for mornings like this one. We'll head to Abanotubani for a private group soak in the historic bathhouses. It's one of those only-in-Tbilisi experiences that somehow fixes everything. Take your time after, find a good cafe, explore at your own pace.
We'll make our way to the Chronicles of Georgia monument at some point in the day, which is one of those places that truly take your breath away. In the evening, we'll rest up and go for a casual dinner before night two of exploring Tbilisi's legendary rave scene.
Time to dive into the world's oldest wine region. Our private driver will pick us up in the late morning for a full-day adventure in the Kakheti region. We're starting with a stop at a magical monastery in the mountains before touring an incredible wine cave carved into the Caucasus mountains. Learn the art of Georgian cooking in a hands-on class, taste local wines, and enjoy a slow afternoon surrounded by vineyards. From there, we’ll continue to Signagi, Georgia's "City of Love" overlooking the Alazani Valley. Watch the sunset from the fortress walls, stroll its cobbled streets, and enjoy a chill dinner before heading back to Tbilisi.
For this evening, it’s choose your own adventure: for girls leaving in the morning, many flights depart early so you can either catch up on sleep at the villa or party all night in the city that truly never sleeps.
Tbilisi-only guests: Check out, last wander around the city, and airport whenever you need to be there. It's been a really good one. We'll see you on the next trip.
Black Sea group: Bags in the van, we're heading west to the coast. On the way we'll stop at Tskaltubo, a Soviet spa resort that's been completely frozen in time since the early 1990s. Crumbling grand buildings, empty pools, wild overgrowth reclaiming everything. It's one of those places that doesn't feel real. We'll arrive in Batumi in the evening, check into the hotel, and have our first look at the Black Sea.
Batumi is one of those cities that people don't quite know how to describe until they've been there. Part Miami, part Soviet, part Mediterranean seaside town, all of it somehow working together. The beaches are stunning, the food is great, and the city has an energy that's completely different from Tbilisi. Swim, eat Adjaran khachapuri where it was actually invented, get acquainted with the famous boulevard. Tonight, we explore Batumi's bar and club scene, which has its own distinct character.
Slow morning, beach, sea, sun. Batumi is surprisingly lush for a city on the Black Sea coast. Parts of the surrounding area look more like a tropical rainforest than Eastern Europe, which makes for a really good hike if you want to get out of the city for a few hours. There's also the botanical garden, yoga on the beach if that's your thing, boat trips on the Black Sea, or you can just spend the whole day at the hotel pool with a drink in hand. In the evening, we'll explore Batumi's nightlife scene one last time.
A last morning at the beach, then we pack up and make the drive back to Tbilisi. One final night together at a hotel in the center of the city. Squeeze in any final sightseeing or souvenir shopping (trust us you'll want to leave with some Georgian goodies). Then we'll enjoy our final evening together in Tbilisi over dinner, drinks, and knowing us, probably a casual night out - many departures leave early in the morning, so call it an early night or stay out all night until your flight!
Check out and head to the airport whenever you need to. Or don't go home just yet. Armenia is a short journey away, Azerbaijan is right there, and there's honestly more of Georgia worth seeing if you have the time. But if you are heading back, you're going home with a completely different perspective on a part of the world most people haven't discovered yet, and a group of people you'll actually stay in touch with. That's what this is all about!

I was a little nervous about signing up to this trip but it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had the most incredible time with the loveliest group of girls and hope to see them all again soon at our next rave!

Best decision I made in 2025. After doing this trip I can’t imagine a better way to experience rave culture as a solo traveler!

I didn’t have many expectations of how this trip would go but they were exceeded a hundred times over! What I enjoyed the most was getting to meet women from all over with the same common goal of seeing the world and experiencing new adventures.

Absolutely! The vast majority of our travelers come solo and leave with lifelong friends. This is a girls-only trip with like-minded people who love to rave, explore, and have a good time. Our trip leader will make sure everyone feels welcome from day one.
We're all about good energy, supporting each other, and making memories. Whether you want to dance all night or take it easy some nights, there's space for everyone. Most of our attendees are in their 20s and 30s, but you're welcome at any age as long as you fit the vibe. While the trip is conducted in English, we have attendees from around the world... 30 countries and counting!
Yes, you must be 18+ to join this trip. The majority of our trip participants are in their 20s and 30s.
Our trips are always at your own pace! You don't have to drink or party hard to have an amazing time. We have plenty of daytime activities, beach time, and chill moments built into the itinerary. It's likely you'll find fellow trip attendees on your same wavelength who want to explore, relax, and enjoy Georgia without going all out every night.
Not at all. The Tbilisi trip is a completely standalone experience and plenty of people will do just that. The beach extension is there for people who want more time, a change of pace, and a completely different side of Georgia.
Yes. Tbilisi is a well-established travel destination with a thriving international community and a busy tourist scene. The rave scene there is world-renowned and well-organised. We've run a trip there already and will have a local trip leader on the ground with you the whole time. As with any travel, normal awareness applies, but Georgia has a strong reputation for hospitality and safety for tourists.
Most nationalities can enter Georgia visa-free for up to a year, including EU, US, UK, Canadian and Australian passport holders. We recommend double-checking entry requirements for your specific passport before booking.
In Tbilisi, we'll be in a villa in a central neighbourhood, walkable to the city's best bars and restaurants. In Batumi, we'll be at a hotel right on the coast with a pool, sea views, and breakfast included. Beach trip guests also get a final night at a central hotel in Tbilisi on the way back. Shared and private room options available for Tbilisi and the beach trip add-on.
We'll send a form prior to arrival to capture any requirements. Georgian cuisine is varied and welcoming, and Tbilisi in particular has a strong vegetarian and vegan restaurant scene alongside the traditional spots.
Rave outfits, comfortable shoes that can handle cobblestones, a swimsuit and activewear (if you're joining for the Black Sea). September in Georgia is warm but evenings can cool down so throw in a light layer. We'll send a full packing list and welcome guide before the trip.
The itinerary is a guide, not a rulebook! It's subject to change based on weather, group preferences, and how everyone's feeling. You're always welcome to do your own thing - whether that's skipping an activity to sleep in, exploring solo, or joining a smaller group for something different. We're here to facilitate an amazing trip, not micromanage your vacation.
There's a $150 non-refundable deposit. Between 60 and 45 days before the trip you can cancel and receive 50% of your remaining balance back. No cancellations are accepted within 45 days of the trip. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Our website prices are listed in US Dollars, but you're welcome to pay via bank transfer in EUR or GBP and save on card fees. You can view payment instructions on the booking page, or reach out to us directly for details.
Once you book, we'll reach out to you via WhatsApp to send out pre-arrival information - we're also here if you need help booking your flights! Three weeks prior to the trip date, you'll be added to our group chat where we'll share updates, answer questions, and start getting to know each other before the trip. The Girls Who Rave team is available for support throughout the planning process.
Fly into Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) for the most direct option, and most people will depart from there too. If you're on the beach add-on and flexible, there are budget airlines that fly into Kutaisi International Airport (KUT), which could work as a departure point at the end of the trip since Batumi is only about 1.5 hours away. Arrive on Thursday September 17 and depart Monday September 21 if you're on the Tbilisi trip, or Friday September 25 if you're continuing to Batumi.

What Inspired This Trip?
We loved it so much we're going back!
For years, we've heard whispers about Tbilisi's underground scene: a rave culture that rivals Berlin but remains beautifully undiscovered. Nestled at the crossroads of East and West, Georgia offers something special: ancient winemaking, Soviet-era grit, picturesque views, and clubs where the music doesn't stop until Monday morning. Georgia is notoriously difficult to navigate solo so that's why we're taking you there with everything carefully planned. Join a crew of adventurous women ready to experience one of Europe's most intriguing hidden gems before everyone else catches on.
Meet Tako
Your Trip Leader & Tbilisi Insider
Born and raised in Tbilisi, Tako's been part of the local rave scene for years and knows the city the way most visitors never get to. The best clubs, the hidden spots, the places worth skipping and the ones worth staying until morning. Warm, outgoing, and endlessly knowledgeable about Georgia, Tako will make sure you leave feeling like you've seen the real Tbilisi, not just the tourist version of it. She was the local expert behind our first trip earlier this year, and a huge part of why it ran so smoothly. Georgia is one of those destinations where knowing a local makes all the difference, and with Tako you'll have exactly that!
